FLUX-GERÄTE GmbH unveils the compact, efficient, and hygienic MINIFLUX SANITARY Pump which can be purchased NOW through Malcolm Thompson Pumps, the Exclusive Australian Distributor.
FLUX-GERÄTE GmbH, a leader in advanced pump technology, is proud to announce the launch of the MINIFLUX SANITARY, a cutting-edge, hygienic container pump designed specifically for IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) and other containers like bag-in-box systems and storage tanks. This new product is set to revolutionise the hygienic emptying of containers, offering an efficient, user-friendly solution for industries where cleanliness and efficiency are paramount.
Hygienic Design for Easy Use and Cleaning
The MINIFLUX features a compact, stainless steel construction that is ideal for applications requiring minimal dead space and high hygiene standards. This dry-installed pump ensures minimal contact with the fluid, which makes it an excellent choice for sensitive industries. Thanks to its innovative design, the MINIFLUX SANITARY can be easily connected to the container outlet using a 2″ clamp or an S60x6 connection adapter. With no greased seals, there is no risk of contamination from grease entering the medium, making it perfect for hygiene-critical applications.
In addition to its hygienic features, the MINIFLUX SANITARY can be fully dismantled in just 20 seconds without the need for tools, ensuring quick and thorough cleaning between uses.
High-Performance Pumping
Despite its compact size, the MINIFLUX SANITARY delivers profound performance. It boasts a pump capacity of up to 240 litres per minute, depending on the medium and drive motor selected. Capable of pumping media with viscosities of up to 1000 mPas, it can even operate against closed valves or taps (for a short time), making it a versatile and reliable choice for various applications.
The pump’s small footprint – weighing just 1.8 kg and with a total length of only 199.5 mm (without drive motor), which makes it easy to handle while still providing a very powerful performance. It is capable of pumping fluids at temperatures up to 100°C, and it can run continuously with limited dry running, meeting FDA standards for safety and reliability.
Customised Power for Every Need
One of the standout features of the MINIFLUX SANITARY is its flexibility in motor selection. The pump is compatible with a range of drive motors, including commutator, brushless, or compressed air motors, to suit the medium and operational environment. The union nut connection allows for easy attachment of the motor to the bearing flange, making it simple to customise the pump for specific requirements.
Additional features include FDA approved FKM or EPDM seals and an ETFE rotor, which ensure effective sealing and pumping of more aggressive fluids. The pump also offers compatibility with standard pipe and hose lines via a 1 1/2-inch clamp pressure connector, making it highly adaptable.
Efficient Emptying with Minimal Residual Volume
Thanks to its design, the MINIFLUX SANITARY can empty IBCs to a residual volume as low as 1%, depending on the angle of inclination. With a pumping pressure of up to 13 metres of water column, this pump ensures that your containers are emptied thoroughly and efficiently, reducing waste and improving operational efficiency.
