MTP’s Ongoing Support for SVA at the 2024 MACA Cancer 200 Ride
Malcolm Thompson Pumps (MTP) has once again demonstrated its commitment to making a difference at the Henry Perkins Institute of Medical Research Foundation by supporting the team at Support Vehicles Australia (SVA) and sponsoring their impressive 210 km ride from Optus Stadium to Mandurah and back, driven by their passion for cancer research.
This year’s event marked a record-breaking achievement, contributing to over $10 million raised for the Harry Perkins Institute for Cancer Research. Our partnership with SVA reflects our belief in the importance of cancer research, which has made significant strides in recent years. As highlighted in last year’s blog, research into cancer is essential for developing better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment options, especially as five-year survival rates continue to improve year on year.
The Power of Collaboration
MTP is proud to stand alongside SVA and other sponsors in this incredible initiative. This year, Team SVA featured a record number of 16 riders, demonstrating the power of collaboration and community spirit. Each rider’s determination to make a difference drives us to support their journey, knowing that our fundraising contributions help propel their efforts to the finish line.
As we look back on the success of this year’s ride, and the commitment shown by SVA, it only reinforces our belief in the power of community-driven efforts to support essential cancer research.
