Surface Mining Pumps

MTP supplies mining pumps and dewatering pump packages to surface mines across Australia, from our workshops in Perth and Sydney. Surface mining operations move water, slurry, process chemicals and tailings around the clock, often in harsh, remote environments. Pumps must handle abrasive solids and aggressive, corrosive water while keeping availability high, and every site has its own requirements.

We design, supply, install and service pumps for site water, pit and quarry dewatering, water transfer, process and reagent duties. Our Stalker electric and diesel driven dewatering pump packages are engineered and made in Perth, and because Stalker is MTP's own brand, manufactured in-house with castings from our on-site foundry, we can design and manufacture pumps to the specific application and requirements of your site. Special materials, including chrome iron, duplex, super duplex and SG iron, allow Stalker pumps to handle aggressive, abrasive and corrosive waters with long wear life. Aquaplus pumps, including progressive cavity pumps for viscous and shear-sensitive duties, extend the range, Wernert pumps safely handle aggressive process chemicals, and Retro-Fit components support existing equipment.
