Introducing the Smart Independent Battery Motor FBM 4100 FLUX Drum Pump!

Wirelessly fill, transfer and meter liquids with precise, easy measurement of delivery quantities.

Drum pumps are a practical solution for transferring fluids quickly and cleanly from drums, IBCs, canisters and more. With a rated power of 420 W, the new FBM 4100 battery motor from FLUX delivers performance comparable to mains-powered units — all while weighing just 2.8 kg including the batteries.

The Flux FBM 4100 battery motor has been designed for versatility; the motor supports a wide range of fluids and is ideal for environments without access to power outlets. This makes it particularly suitable for industries such as construction, manufacturing, food production and agriculture. It is also resistant to corrosive substances, making it well-suited for use in chemical processing and electroplating applications.

The Flux FBM 4100 battery motor has been built with advanced, patent-pending features such as dry-run protection and programmable batch filling allowing for accurate meter pre-set delivery quantities, without a flowmeter. The integrated LCD display enables speed adjustment in 10% increments and allows up to six filling volumes to be programmed and recalled as needed.

  • AdBlue
  • Plant protection concentrates
  • Concrete additives
  • Cooking oils
  • Chemicals including hydrochloric acid

For more viscous liquids, the motor can be combined with progressive cavity pumps from the F 570 series.

Designed for Versatility Across Applications

With an optional adapter, the FBM 4100 is also compatible with pump units from other manufacturers, further expanding its application range.

The brushless, maintenance-free motor is highly efficient, achieving flow rates of up to 84 litres per minute in a typical drum pump setup. In real-world conditions — using a hose and hand nozzle at 80% speed — a single battery charge can empty:

  • Up to eleven 200-litre drums, or
  • Approximately 2.2 × 1,000-litre IBCs

Depending on the configuration, the standard package includes:

  • The motor
  • Two 18V, 4Ah Einhell PXC batteries
  • A twin charger
  • Optional adapter for third-party pump compatibility

Protective covers shield the batteries from splashing water and aggressive vapours. Pre-configured kits are also available, including a pump, a 2-metre delivery hose, and a hand nozzle.

The FBM 4100 is available in:

  • IP24 version with open cooling via ambient air
  • IP44 version with enclosed housing and reduced performance Both versions are built to perform reliably in harsh conditions, including applications involving hydrochloric acid.

Pro Version for Advanced Integration

FLUX also offers a Pro version of the FBM 4100. This version supports more advanced applications. It includes:

  • A 5-pin plug connection for external start/stop control
  • A 24V power supply for direct integration with peripheral devices such as level sensors or flowmeters

As a result, users can integrate the motor into automated or monitored systems with ease.
